Rockstar describes the Vintage Vice City Pack as 'featuring the timeless two-tone ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage alongside the world-famous Ocean Beach'. That makes the Stanier the one named GTA VI vehicle that does not depend on which edition you buy.
It depends on timing instead. Take-Two's pre-order announcement of 24 June 2026 says 'all Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders and purchases before November 20, 2026' include the pack, and the game launches on November 19.

What the deadline means in practice
The cut-off is written as 'before November 20', one day after release.
Launch day still counts
A copy bought on November 19 qualifies under Take-Two's wording. The first day that does not is November 20.
Rockstar has not said which time zone the cut-off uses, so do not leave it to the last hour.
Retailer listings can differ
Platform stores and Rockstar's own store follow Rockstar's terms. A third-party retailer that words the bonus differently is worth checking before you pay.

After the window
Rockstar has not said whether the pack will be sold separately later.
Until it does, buying before November 20 is the only confirmed route to the car.

What the pack images show
Seven of the pack images on Rockstar's editions page include the car. The captions quoted are Rockstar's.
- Outside the Ocean View Hotel. 'Jason and Lucia standing outside the Ocean View Hotel holding handguns', the Stanier behind them. In the 2002 Vice City, the Ocean View on Ocean Beach was Tommy Vercetti's first safehouse, which is the clearest link to the pack's name.
- In the neon. A yellow-over-white four-door with whitewall tyres, heavy chrome and 'Vapid' spelled across the bonnet, Jason driving in a pale jacket and Lucia beside him.
- Arm around, gun in hand. The same pair inside the parked car at night, 'Jason has his arm around Lucia and is holding a handgun.'
- Fender and tail lamp. A 'Stanier' script on the front wing, and a chrome-ringed round tail lamp at the tip of a small fin above a Leonida plate.
- The back seat. 'A collection of weapons and a bag full of cash on the backseat of the ’55 Vapid Stanier.'
Why a 1955 Stanier is a clever choice
The Stanier's whole history is as a fleet car.
The series' Crown Victoria
In GTA IV its body served as the Liberty City taxi and police cruiser without a civilian name. GTA V named it the Vapid Stanier, a four-door that GTA Wiki matches chiefly to the 1992 to 1997 Ford Crown Victoria, the car American police and cab fleets ran for two decades.
GTA Online's dealer text jokes that if you 'took a cab or got arrested in the 1990s, there's a high chance you ended up in the back of a Vapid Stanier.'
1955 is where Crown Victoria began
Ford first used the Crown Victoria name for 1955, as the flagship trim of its new Fairlane, and the 1955 to 1956 Fairlane was known for its stainless side stripe and two-tone paint.
The ’55 Stanier's two-tone paint and chrome side sweep are in that style. So the pre-order car is, in effect, the origin story of the series' cop car. That is our reading of Ford's history; Rockstar has not said it.
The rest of the pack
Rockstar's description also lists outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia and 'an iconic weapon pattern that echoes the excess of the past'. The images show a tropical pattern on a submachine gun.
