Moderation protects a community only when its decisions are understandable and reviewable. GTA6.free reviews new-member submissions before publication, continues to review trusted-member content after publication, and records moderation actions internally.
A report count never removes material automatically. Reports create work for a moderator; they do not function as votes on whether somebody should be silenced.
Possible content states
The same states apply across gallery posts, comments and marketplace listings where relevant.
| State | Meaning | Public visibility |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for a first human review | Only the author and staff where supported |
| Approved or published | Allowed under the current rules | Public |
| Rejected | Not accepted from the review queue | Not public |
| Removed | Previously public, then taken down | Not public |
| Closed or expired | Marketplace listing ended without a conduct finding | Removed from active listings |
What moderators consider
Moderators apply the community rules, marketplace rules and copyright policy. They consider the content itself, its source and credit, whether claims are presented as fact or theory, whether a link is relevant, and whether a marketplace post creates a scam or payment risk.
Disagreement, criticism and an incorrect theory are not misconduct by themselves. Leaks, piracy, harassment, impersonation, dangerous links, undisclosed copied work and repeated commercial spam are.
How to appeal
- Use the contact page. Send the appeal from the email associated with your account when possible.
- Identify the decision. Include your handle, the exact post or listing URL, and the approximate date of the action.
- Explain the error. Point to the rule, context, ownership evidence or factual detail you believe was missed.
- Do not resubmit the same material. Duplicating removed content delays review and may create a separate rule violation.
- Wait for review. Another available moderator should examine the record where staffing permits. Volunteer moderation has no guaranteed response time.
Possible appeal outcomes
A decision may be upheld, reversed or narrowed. Content may return unchanged, return after an edit, remain removed, or be restored while an account restriction remains. We explain the operative rule when we can do so without exposing another member's private information or weakening anti-abuse controls.
Urgent safety, legal and security matters take priority. An appeal is not a way to obtain another member's email address, report history, private marketplace offer or moderator identity.
The rules a decision is measured against are the community guidelines, and marketplace decisions follow the marketplace rules.
Frequently asked questions
Does a certain number of reports remove a post?
No. Reports are reviewed by a human and do not automatically remove content.
Can I appeal a ban?
Yes. Include your handle, the approximate date and the reason you believe the decision should change.
Will a different moderator review my appeal?
A different available moderator should review it where staffing permits, but the site is operated by a small volunteer team.
Is there a guaranteed appeal deadline?
No. Urgent safety and legal issues are prioritised, but the volunteer team does not promise a fixed response time.
