The Dinka Enduro is not a separate item in the Ultimate Edition. It sits inside a benefit Rockstar calls Jason's Safehouse Vehicles, and the whole description is one sentence: 'Switch gears and soak up the sun in an Army fatigue-tinged Dinka Enduro motorcycle or Crest Kayak.'

So this page covers three things at once: the bike, the kayak it is bundled with, and the house both are parked outside.

Motorcycle or kayak?

Rockstar's sentence says 'or', and Press Start's edition rundown repeated it as 'motorcycle or kayak'. But the benefit's name is plural, and the first image in the set shows both parked at the safehouse together.

We read it as both. Rockstar has not spelled it out, so treat that as open until launch.

The three images

Rockstar's captions are quoted; the detail is what the images show.

  1. The safehouse. A weathered green two-storey house on stilts with a wraparound deck, on a sandy lot beside open water, with Jason on the balcony. Rockstar's caption: 'the Vapid Ganado, Dinka Enduro, and Crest Kayak all stationed outside.' The Ganado is Jason's own pickup, which the separate Ganado Retro Build benefit restyles.
  2. The bike. An olive-green Enduro against a roller door: round headlamp, chrome forks with rubber gaiters, twin rear shocks, an air-cooled engine, a perforated heat shield on the high exhaust and knobbly tyres. The torn seat cover says used, not showroom.
  3. The kayak. 'Jason sailing through the water in an orange Crest Kayak, shirtless', paddling in low sun past a wooden jetty and mangrove islets. The deck has a hatch and bungee cords.

Where the Enduro comes from

The Enduro is not a new name.

GTA Online, 2015

Dinka's Enduro joined GTA Online with the Heists update on 10 March 2015, priced at $48,000 in game money. Its dealer copy called it a 'cross country bike that can literally go across the country'.

GTA Wiki matches that bike to Honda's XL250S and XL350 dual-sports of the 1970s. Dinka has been the series' Honda stand-in since GTA IV.

The GTA VI bike looks just as period

Twin shocks, a round headlamp, a slim tank and an exposed air-cooled engine are 1970s and early 1980s dual-sport hardware.

That puts it with the rest of the edition, where almost every road vehicle is decades old.

Why an enduro suits Leonida

An enduro is a road-legal bike built for dirt, which fits a map with a wetland and a national park in it.

The Crest Kayak

The kayak is the smaller half of the benefit and has less history behind it.

New to the series

The GTA Wiki has no entry for a Crest manufacturer or for a kayak in any earlier Grand Theft Auto, so both appear to be new. Kayaking itself was shown as something Jason and Lucia do together in Rockstar's Extended Look.

A shallow hull suits the Grassrivers wetland and the Leonida Keys, but Rockstar has not said where the kayak can be launched or carried.

Before you buy for these

  • Both are Ultimate Edition only, and Ultimate is sold digitally.
  • Motorcycles and kayaking appear in Rockstar's own material outside the edition, including a rider on the cover art. What the edition adds is these specific vehicles at Jason's safehouse.
  • Rockstar has not said when in the story the safehouse becomes available, or where it is.
