Store-exclusive pre-order bonuses are common enough elsewhere that people assume GTA 6 must have them. It does not, and neither of Rockstar's two previous big launches worked that way either.
What does differ between stores is narrower and more practical: which edition a store can sell you, whether the GTA+ month comes with it, what it costs in your currency, and whether a box reaches you before pre-load opens on November 12.

Game content is identical from every legitimate seller. The differences are format and the digital GTA+ month.

Read the gap, not only the price
In Canada and Australia the step up to Ultimate is 30 local dollars rather than 20, so the extras cost proportionally more there than in the US or UK.
Boxed copies from retailers are Standard Edition only. A boxed buyer who wants Ultimate buys the separate Upgrade from the console store after redeeming the code.
How Rockstar has run pre-orders before
The GTA 6 structure is not new. It is the structure of Rockstar's last two big launches, carried over almost exactly.

Why a store-exclusive offer is a warning sign
Because the pattern is so consistent, a listing that promises GTA 6 content only one store can give you is describing something Rockstar has not offered. Our guide to pre-order scams covers the code-selling version of this.
Store promotions are different and real: loyalty points, gift-card credit, price matches. They are worth comparing. They are not game content.
Before you pay anywhere
- Check the platform: PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. There is no PC version to pre-order.
- Check the format. A boxed copy holds a download code, not a disc, and it is the Standard Edition.
- Check the date. Order before November 20 for the pack; pre-load opens on November 12.
- Buy in your own country. Codes are tied to storefront regions, and an imported code may not redeem on your account.
- Check the price against the table above. A figure far below it is not a real listing.
