The personalised sidearms, read closely
Rockstar's listing describes "personalized sidearms with detailed engravings for Jason's Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia's Klose K17 pistol". Its product image, the two guns laid on the edge of a pool at night, shows how far the personalisation goes.

What Sua Sponte means
The Latin phrase, "of their own accord", is the motto of the US Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, as GamesRadar points out. Rockstar's profile of Jason mentions a stint in the Army.
Rockstar has not explained the engraving. On his gun it reads as a pointer to that past, and it is the kind of detail a generic skin would not carry.
The Vintage Vice City pattern
The pre-order pattern is the weapon cosmetic most players will actually get. Rockstar's image shows it on a Beretta-style pistol and a compact SMG on the back seat of a car, next to a bag of cash: a pale teal finish printed with palm fronds.
Rockstar calls it Channel the Original Kingpin, a tropical pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti's palm-tree shirt from the 2002 game. GamesRadar reports that it can be applied to most of your weapons rather than one model.
Who gets it
Every pre-order or purchase made before November 20, 2026, on either edition, according to Rockstar's pre-order announcement.
Rockstar has not said whether the pack will be sold separately after that date.

What $20 buys on the weapons side
In the US the Ultimate Edition is $99.99 against $79.99 for Standard; in the UK it is £89.99 against £69.99. Of its weapon items, the revolvers and the crate add things to use, while the personalised pistols change how two guns look.
Rockstar describes the variants only in terms of engraving. It has published no statistics for any GTA VI weapon.

The open question
One Ultimate Edition image shows a PTT Youngin$ gang member holding a brightly coloured, heavily customised SMG branded ERIS, which GamesRadar notes is a footwear company in the GTA universe.
That suggests finishes beyond the two sold items, but no customisation menu, gunsmith or engraving shop has been shown. Whether you can engrave your own guns, as in Red Dead Redemption 2, is unconfirmed.
