Seven weeks before release, most of the GTA VI soundtrack has started to surface. The Extended Look carried more than a dozen licensed records, Atlantic Records is taking pre-saves for a 34-track album, and a V-Rock logo has appeared on Jason's T-shirt.
The people who talk between the records are still missing. Rockstar has not named a single presenter, and no credible outlet has reported one. What can be said with sources is who these hosts have been in earlier games, how late Rockstar named them, and which lists to ignore.

Real people who have hosted Grand Theft Auto radio
Rockstar has mixed its own writers with musicians and celebrities cast for one station. A sample from three games, each checkable against the sources below.

How late the names arrive
GTA V is the best-documented case. Rockstar announced its station line-up and hosts on 28 August 2013, as mxdwn reported that day, and the game went on sale on 17 September. A full public tracklist was only compiled in early October, after release.
That is a 20-day gap between host names and launch. Applied to a November 19 release, the same gap points to about October 30, 2026. That is arithmetic from one precedent, not a date Rockstar has given.
Why hosts are the last piece
A host is a performer under contract, usually recorded after the music has been chosen, and often a name that is news in its own right. Naming one early risks a correction if a deal changes.
The album runs on a different clock. Its six singles came out before launch because they market a record, and a record can be sold before anyone says which station plays it.
Why V-Rock does not answer the host question
V-Rock is the one station brand Rockstar has shown. In 2002 its voice was Lazlow, who co-wrote the series' radio with Dan Houser from GTA III onwards and returned as a V-Rock character in Vice City Stories.
Lazlow left Rockstar in April 2020 after nearly twenty years. Whoever presents a 2026 V-Rock, if anyone does, the brand's return does not bring its original presenter back by default.
What the album does and does not tell you
GTA VI: The Album is 34 new recordings, with Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards among the named artists. None has been announced as a presenter.
GTA V shows why the question is fair: Flying Lotus both hosted FlyLo FM and wrote original music for it. An album artist hosting a station would fit that pattern. It is still an inference, and it is labelled as one here.
