The short version
- Eligible digital pre-orders include one month of GTA+ at no extra cost.
- The offer can roll into a paid auto-renewing subscription.
- Existing members receive the month after claiming it.
- No GTA VI online benefit has been announced.
GTA+ appears on the GTA VI pre-order page because Rockstar is offering an eligible buyer one month of the existing subscription. It does not mean GTA VI contains an online mode, and it does not make GTA+ necessary for the single-player campaign.
On PlayStation, the published offer applies to eligible digital Standard and Ultimate Edition purchases made before November 20, 2026. The claim must be completed by March 31, 2027, and the offer is limited to once per account.

What GTA+ is today
GTA+ is Rockstar's recurring membership for supported Grand Theft Auto services.
Its benefits belong to today's products
They cover what the GTA+ page lists, including rotating rewards and access.
None of that should be copied into a GTA VI feature list without a new announcement.
Why it is bundled with a pre-order
The free month is genuinely useful if you want to explore GTA Online while waiting.
It is also a marketing bridge between two products, which is why a single-player pre-order can carry it.
What the offer does not confirm
Quite a lot, and the list is worth being explicit about.
Not announced by the GTA+ offer
- GTA VI Online
- Early access
- Monthly GTA VI currency
- Exclusive GTA VI missions
- Priority servers
- Any multiplayer release date
It is not the story content either
The Ultimate Edition's story items are listed separately from GTA+, so membership is not what delivers them. Our edition comparison keeps them apart.
And you do not have to stay subscribed. PlayStation's own instructions warn that the month rolls into a paid subscription.
Claim carefully
Read the storefront terms for your country, because eligibility and availability differ.
How to take the free month without paying for more
- Redeem through the linked storefront flow
- Write down the renewal date shown during redemption
- Cancel before that date through subscription management
One rule that never changes
Never buy a separate code from a community listing.
The official offer only exists inside the storefront flow, and this site prohibits code and account sales. Our pre-order scams page covers why.
