What belongs in Community Projects & Skills
Community projects and skill swaps: wikis, translation, video editing, capture work, research help, and tools built for other members. Everything here is offered in exchange for other skills rather than for money, which is what separates it from freelancing.
This is where most of the site's community projects have started, and it is deliberately the least transactional part of the marketplace. Nobody is buying anything, so the only thing that makes a listing work is being specific about what you can actually do.
What is prohibited across the whole marketplace is set out in the marketplace rules.
What makes a strong post
- Describe what you can actually do and roughly how much time you have.
- Say what you would like in return.
- Link previous work where it exists.
What gets removed
- Paid work, rates or invoicing. There is no money on this marketplace.
- Account boosting, modding services or anything that touches game files.
